LinkBaiting - A very effective way to bring qualified traffic to your site

Is reciprocal link building dying? My answer is Yes & No!

Yes for those webmasters who obtain thousands of links from other websites with un-related content. Aimless ‘mass link exchanges’ will no longer work…..at least with Google.

On the other hand reciprocal linking between sites with similar content/theme will still work to your benefit. Benefits or none, reciprocal linking is time consuming…I am almost giving it up.

How does a webmaster LinkBait?

The term LinkBaiting itself may sound a little fishy, but it’s not. If you are a good web master, you should always strive for your content to be linkbait. This simply means that your content is of such quality that others simply can’t help but link to it. — Kim Roach.

High quality, unique and stimulating content will definitely do it for you. Make visitors and webmasters ‘window-shopping’ at your website want to link to your content, forward it to their friends and/or social bookmark it…..some may find it so compelling and even steal it! Fortunately most surfers/webmasters are honest and will respect and reward your work accordingly, with tons of un-solicited ‘backlinks’, resulting in a much desired SEO boost.

LinkBaiting is becoming an art and many webmasters are utilizing this technique instead of traditional reciprocal linking, which has been thoroughly abused.

A combination of LinkBaiting and Article Writing is a potent mixture for any webmaster in need of an ‘SEO Boost’
