William Church is the former managing director of the Centre for Infrastructural Warfare Studies (CIWARS) which focused on warfare and terrorism issues. His articles have appeared in a wide range of publications which include the International Journal of the Red Cross, Defense News, and many other professional journals. Mr. Church has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars to include InfowarCon, Asia Pacific Network Group, as head of the Chairman\'s Panel on Critical Infrastructure Protection, and government sponsored events in Argentina, Singapore, and Russia..

He served in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst and his terrorist threat analysis was cited by the United States Presidential Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection in its 1998 final report. Most recently he worked on the United Nations Experts Panel in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Mr. Church holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri in Radio and Television Journalism, and completed course work at the University of Glasgow for a Ph.d in War Studies.
