Kenya -Beyond the Double Cross
' and '
The Legacy of Emperor Matumbo
' are currently in edit for publication. He has also penned several other small anthologies.

ODM-K
) and is also party Deputy National Organizing Secretary. Since 2007 he has represented his party on the board of the Centre for Multi Party Democracy (CMD) in Kenya and is a member of the programs Committee. Gwada has likewise represented his party at various other fora including the Constitution Review process in Kenya.
He is leader of the
wanwanwan movement
- a consciousness mobilization group. The wanwanwan engage in political and human rights awareness efforts through information dissemination in Kenya and the diaspora.
Gwada has lived in exile from July 2009 after surviving an abduction attempt by suspected state agents in a Nairobi street. A prominent leader in Kenya's Grand Coalition Government is suspected to have orchestrated the abduction attempt.
He continues to carry out his Human Rights and Democracy advocacy work and is currently engaged as Program Coordinator of a key national electoral agency in his country of exile.
