Alfred Obiora Uzokwe is a syndicated news Columnist, an Architect and a Civil Engineer licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Washington DC and the State of Maryland. He has written hundreds of topical news commentaries, about Nigeria, published in several online magazines and websites.

Alfred earned his 6-year professional bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Nigeria. He then moved to the United States and earned a master of architecture degree from Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

His story about the Biafran war stems from the direct experience he had and observations he made, during the war, as his family took refuge in his native town, Nnewi.
