Nunca Mas: Spanish Words for Noble Somalis and Barbaric Abyssinians

For Hispanophones, nunca mas are two meaningful words; they stand for ‘never again’. The two words have been used by native speakers for thousands of times, and on very different occasions. I am convinced that all the Somalis, and particularly those of the Diaspora who are far from the daily reality as it is being developed in the Horn of Africa country, need to learn the two Spanish words, and even more specifically they need to use them with a very particular meaning, as King Juan Carlos of Spain did a few years ago.

‘Nunca Mas’, ‘Never Again’, should be said by all the Somalis in one voice, with reference to a recent development that resembles an incident that took place in the Spanish Court in Madrid in May 2004.

To understand King Juan Carlos’ nuance, one has to know the occurrence on which the Bourbon monarch said the two magic words. As a matter of fact, this is a well known story among the European noblesse, and the event is highly illuminative of the fundamental reality that among all the human beings there are no differences either in terms of skin colour (black, white, yellow, red) or as regards blood colour (red or blue).

Somalia is only indirectly concerned with the event itself, as the Madrid incident did not involve any Somali! However, it is worthy of note that at the epicenter of the episode that made King Juan Carlos of Spain pronounce ‘Nunca mas’ is an Italian, who was second in line to the Italian throne for the last years of the Italian colonial rule over Somalia (1937 – 1942), namely the grandson of Vittorio Emanuele III (reigned 1900 - 1946), the son of Umberto II (the famous King of May, as he ruled for just a month, in May 1946), Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia.

Before I narrate the incident that took place in the Zarzuela Palace of Madrid on May 21, 2004, at a dinner given by King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia on the
eve of their son's nuptials, I will portray the two main protagonists of the incredible and inaudible affair.

Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia, pretender to the defunct Italian throne

Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia, born in 1937, is a pretender to the defunct Italian throne, as son to the last king of Italy, Umberto III. Highly controversial figure, he opposed his father in order to get married (secretively in Iran) with a commoner. A brief excerpt from the English wikipedia is enough to depict the personality of the self-styled Duke of Savoy:

“On several occasions he has been the centre of controversy in Italy and abroad due to a series of incidents, including remarks that were seen by some as anti-Semitic. In France he was tried on a murder charge, of which he was cleared of unlawful killing but convicted of a firearms offence. More recently, Vittorio Emanuele was arrested on June 16, 2006, following an investigation started by Henry John Woodcock of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Potenza, Italy, on charges of criminal association, corruption and exploitation of prostitution” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Emmanuel%2C_Prince_of_Naples).

For those able to read Italian, the Italian version of the wikipedia may offer a longer and detailed insightful, involving quotes and examination of his claims to the headship of the House of Savoy and to the title of King of Jerusalem

However, his claims have been rejected by his cousin, Amedeo, 5th Duke of Aosta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amedeo%2C_5th_Duke_of_Aosta).

Amedeo, 5th Duke of Aosta, second claimant to the Italian throne

The second protagonist of the Zarzuela Palace incident is precisely the second claimant to the Italian throne, and cousin of Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia. The claims against the son of Umberto II evolve around two axes, namely Vittorio Emanuele’s marriage, and more recently his recognition of the Italian Republic, which automatically induces anybody to interpret the attitude as direct renunciation of royal claims.

To quote the aforementioned article of wikipedia, “others, including constitutional jurist Guido Locatello, declared the marriage of Vittorio Emanuele to be in violation of Savoy dynastic law years before scandal evoked any clamor for Amedeo to replace him. Additionally, Amedeo of Aosta's claims were strengthened when both Prince Vittorio Emanuele and his son Prince Emanuele Filberto recognized the Italian republic in order to be allowed to return to Italy in 2002, an act that was interpreted as an official renunciation of any claims either had on the throne of Italy”.

The Zarzuela Incident: when European Noblesse turns Vulgar!

As it can be understood, there has been a long and sharp antagonism between the two claimants for the throne of Italy. However, European noble and royal houses extended always invitations to both pretenders as, noblesse oblige, they counted on self restrain, phlegm, and aristocratic savoir vivre. All this was suddenly forgotten at the dinner offered by the King and the Queen of Spain on the occasion of the wedding of the Crown Prince Felipe with Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano.

To briefly narrate the incident, Vittorio Emanuele, Duke of Savoia, leaving the dinner, came face to face with his inimical cousin, Amedeo the 5h Duke of Aosta. He then punched twice Amedeo in the mouth; the latter was taken by surprise because of his cousin’s vulgar attitude, and he would have fallen to the ground had he not been caught by deposed Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, sister-in-law of Queen Sophia of Spain.

The news spread through magazines and newspapers immediately; personally, I first read it in the French magazine Point de Vue – Images, a few days later. The Italian daily La Repubblica said Duke Amedeo was then helped inside the Zarzuela palace, where an unidentified Arab potentate applied an ice pack to his bruised lips.

“Duke Amedeo did not deny the attack. The newspaper La Stampa quoted him as saying it was "an unpleasant business that does not deserve further comment". The incident was the latest scandal in the life of Prince Vittorio Emanuele, who returned to Italy last year after 57 years in exile.

In 1991, he was acquitted of manslaughter by a French court for an incident 13 years earlier in which he fired a rifle from his yacht off Corsica, fatally wounding a German tourist.

The prince renounced all claims to the throne as part of the deal that allowed him back into Italy - a move that dismayed the country's dwindling band of monarchists and prompted many to switch their allegiance to Duke Amedeo”.

Nunca Mas

On learning of the affray, King Juan Carlos was said to have stormed "Nunca mas" (Never again) - apparently in reference to the Italian's chances of a further invitation.

It is therefore crystal clear that a similar attitude and expression of vulgarity and coarseness is to be immediately ostracized from any environment of civilized manners and behaviours. This is the measure that entitles us to describe King Juan Carlos of Spain, and Amedeo the 5h Duke of Aosta, as civilized, and Vittorio Emanuele as the outcast paragon of the loutish and the indecorous.

So low that type of behaviour was that a multitude of calamities have befallen ever since on the uncouth pretender to the Italian throne, Vittorio Emanuele. More details one can find in the wikipedia article about the House of Savoy, and the related references (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Savoy and also http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/may/29/spain.johnhooper); even Vittorio Emanuele’s sister, Princess Maria Gabriella, gave interviews to express her support to the claim of Amedeo the 5h Duke of Aosta, taking openly position against her own brother!

Only a small group among Italy’s monarchists keep supporting the pariah pseudo-prince Vittorio Emanuele; this gives us the measure of Italy as a civilized country whereby similarly low attitudes are typically castigated. It would have been only normal to characterize Italians as barbarians, if they had not rejected in their outright majority Vittorio Emanuele’s grotesque behaviour and repugnant manners.

Filthy, Barbaric, Cannibalistic Amhara and Tigray Abyssinians

The recent news from Somalia corroborated once more that those, who demand the abolition of the pseudo-Ethiopian tyranny, are absolutely right. According to this report (http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=44222§ionid=351020501), the Abyssinian military Gabre Heard, the best representative of the Amhara – Tigray barbarism in our days, slapped Somalia's so-called interim president Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed twice on the face.

The dispute started after the unrepresentative puppet president “accused the army general of disobeying the orders given by the Somali government. Irked by the Somali President's remarks”, who accused the Ethiopian troops of firing artillery at the presidential palace and the government bases, the barbaric general “swore that he would kill the president and left the room”.

According to the same report, the unrepresentative president “called Amison peace keeping troops for security. There is speculation that a conflict could arise between the African Union Mission in Somalia (Amison) and Ethiopian troops”. The barbaric trash Gabre seems to have his supporters in the puppet Somali government, including treacherous figures like Mogadishu Mayor Mohamed Omar Habeeb and head of the security agency Mohamed Warsamme Darwiish.

Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia and Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed

All this reconfirms that today in Somalia there is only one party and one leader able to unite the country, kick the barbaric Abyssinian troops out of Somalia, and lead the country to general elections for Constitutive Assembly: the Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia (ARS) and Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed. Now, all the Somali patriots around Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed can safely claim their politically correct position to oppose the TFG as unrepresentative and politically alien to Somali History and Common Wisdom. By doing so, they deprived the TFG from any legitimacy, saving the Somali National Honour.

That is why the few, politically inexperienced and morally questionable Somalis of the Diaspora, who supported financially the puppet president, trying to play idiotic political games against the Great and Brave Mogadishu Fighters, must be the only Somalis to feel the barbaric slap on their face.

These little guys, who thought that a Somali business in America can turn them to leaders back home, must now close their mouth, and let the Somali Youth lead the Liberation Struggle. If anything, they must use their monies to arm and equip the Somali Youth.

Somalia feels better in the streets of Mogadishu than in the Californian ranches and malls. Those who daily risk their lives for the Liberation of Somalia from the Abyssinian Plague are the political leaders of tomorrow’s Greater Somalia that will include Jigjiga, Hargeysa, Laas Qioray, Garowe, Mogadishu and all the rest.

There is only one conclusion we can draw from the pathetic incident; Nunca mas, never again, will the Abyssinians be left to get involved in Somalia’s affairs.

Nunca mas, never again, will the Somalis negotiate with the barbaric mob of Abyssinia.

Nunca mas, never again, will the Somalis accept the existence of the Abyssinian barbaric tyranny.

Somalis’ Only Target: the Present Death of ‘Ethiopia’

Denouncing the illegal and inhumanly barbaric state imposed on a multitude of subjugated and tyrannized nations, namely the Oromos, the Ogadenis, the Sidamas, the Afars, the Agaws, the Kaffas, the Kambatas, the Shekachos, the Anuaks, the Wolayitas and others, is by now an obligation for any Somali, and for any civilized person in this world.

Demanding and actively contributing to the liberation of all the aforementioned, subjugated and tyrannized, nations that are all, historically, culturally, linguistically and religiously different from the barbaric and illiterate Tigray and Amhara mobs is condition sine qua non for the Somalis to achieve National Independence.

In fact, Somalia will be free and independent only when the monstrous colonial fabrication, the fake ‘Ethiopian’ state, will be exterminated, and Finfinne (fallaciously and criminally re-baptized as Addis Ababa by the Abysso-fascist, military mob of the cannibal pseudo-king Menelik) will become capital of the Oromo Republic of Ethiopia.

Somalia will not be liberated, unless all the Somalis take as their model the Illustrious Somali King Ahmed Ibn Ibrahim, and get indoctrinated by the Noblesse and the Greatness of his Sparkling Paradigm.

The present unfortunate development has no effect and no impact on Somalia, as the so-called interim president was consistently rejected by the emerging leader of the Somali Nation Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

The incident – revelatory of the Abyssinian Cannibalism – has indeed very limited dimensions; in fact, it is as if an Abyssinian military slapped any average Somali, who had been coincidentally picked up to be an Abyssinian puppet.

The didactic conclusion is therefore simple; there cannot be any Somali interlocutor of the Abyssinians.

The historical conclusion is equally simple; the Somalis must lead the liberation struggle of all the tyrannized nations of Abyssinia.

After limiting the Amharas in Gonder and the Tigray in Mekele, an international mandate must be adjusted on the Abyssinians, involving the total eradication of the present totalitarian elites and their tools of power, their false and racist historical dogmas, and the Neo-Nazi ideologies that they have imposed on the local analphabetic masses.

Somalis must go up to imposing a UN mandate on Neo-Nazi Abyssinia, under the auspices of Vatican, slapping to death the evil colonial fabrication “Ethiopia”.

A long and glorious path that only the Somali Nation can cross as Africa’s most genuine Soul; that’s why today every noble person allover the world feels proud to say:

- Waligeey Somali ayaan ahaa!
