Kinijit: the Abyssinian Racism Re-instated

In a previous article, entitled 'Kinijit: the unrepentable 'Ethiopian' mendicants', we unveiled the real identity of the Amhara neo-racist and totalitarian party Kinijit that has long been covered under the mask of - assumingly democratic and progressive but disappointingly fake - texts bought, copied and pasted on their publications.

These indescribable texts illuminate ideal situations to which the Kinijit apprentice rulers supposedly ascribe themselves; yet, the fake character of the texts can be easily understood through a double comparison. These texts do contrast indeed with the historical and current reality of Abyssinia, and at the same time with one another. Their shockingly contrasting elements would create a brilliant comedy – like those of Goldoni, the paragon of Comedia dell' Arte – if there were not much blood, suffering, tortures, severe violations of Human Rights, and other appalling discriminations involved.

As we have planned a series of articles, focusing on the evil nature of the unrepentable Amharas who want to replace the Tigray-led Meles Zenawi dictatorship with an Amhara Abyssinian tyranny, we received a great number of enthusiastic letters that all castigate the well covered – I must admit – targets of Kinijit. One should perhaps ask a very simple, yet illuminative question:

  • - Where and when did all the Amharas learn Democracy? In Abyssinia, at the days of the obscurantist and anachronistic monarchy of the Haile Selassie fossil? Or in the Afro-Communist, dysfunctional dictatorship of the ….. Amhara proletariat that cynically planned and scrupulously executed the extermination of numerous peoples in the Horn of Africa Gulags of Mengistu Haile Mariam?

  • Amharas need first Renaissance and then Democracy

There is no answer to this question, except that Amhara nature is at the antipodes of Democracy, Freedom and Respect of the Other. This is not strange, as no development took place in that country to help introduce the indigenous, secluded and introverted masses to the post-Renaissance world. There was never an Amhara Simon de Bolivar, Miguel de Unamuno, let alone Montesquieu or Alexander von Humboldt. Centuries of inaccessibility spent with the Hatred of Islam as the only daily concern, and centuries of seclusion decorated with anti-Catholic Odium have fossilized the analphabetic masses and their execrably filthy leaders, the notorious Debteras, into what may be the bottom of Dante's Hell.

The only exit would be a really revolutionary Amhara who would introduce the concepts of Self-Criticism, Repentance, Enlightenment, Humanity and Progress to the average Amhara mind – a location where the clock stopped before 750 years; it will not be an easy affair, and he would jeopardize his chances for survival. Before Renaissance is diffused among the Amhara, the entire world of modern politics, Democracy, Freedom and Human Rights will just be incomprehensible subtleties for the Lake Tana cave inhabitants, who are unable to read Gueze, their own Ancient and Holy Scripture.

That is why the Kinijit guys cannot even think about self-improvement; all they know is how to demonstrate that they are able to set up a democratic regime, as Meles Zenawi's expiry date has arrived, and then, if trusted by the US administration as undeservedly as the Tigray criminal premier has been, how to exploit the natural resources of the vast lands that belong to the Oromos, the Sidamas, the Gambellas, the Shekachos, the Afars, and the Ogadenis; the only thing the Kinijit aspirant tyrants know very well is that their own mountainous and arid land is inappropriate for progress and wealth; that is why under any regime's mask they have to rob their neighbors' wealth and treasures.

    Kinijit's Commitment to Tyranny

At this point, we simply quote from the Kinijit website:

"Kinijit is committed to bring about the Rule of Law, and free the beleaguered people of Ethiopia from the ethno-centrist dictatorial oppressive rule of EPDRF. It is the party set to honor the electoral voice of the people from the rigged election of May 15, 2005; that robbed the people of Ethiopia their Democratic voice.

In the sprit of bringing change, Kinijit will work with democratic parties to bring an end to the mismanagement and abusive nepotistic rule of the ruling party.

A change of government is needed to get the country out of the abysmal state it is in. The Ethiopian people have made their choice loud and clear by voting for the opposition party on May 15, 2005 election.

Kinijit stands as the vanguard party committed to implement democracy in Ethiopia and to replace despair with hope, rise national aspiration, and embrace freedom."

Refutation of Kinijit's Commitment to Tyranny

In the above paragraphs, we encounter further proof of the Amhara irredentism. By attacking the oppressive rule of the Tigray party, they are cautious to also rebuke what disturbs them most: the ethno-centrist dimension. Ethno-centrism is not wrong, in the same way national identity is not wrong, patriotism is not wrong, and rationalistic nationalism is not wrong. Ethno-centrism pertains to cultural and national identity concern and cultivation. Who would accuse a Pole, a Dane and a Bask of 'ethno-centrism'?

But for the undemocratic Amhara Kinijit aspiring dictators, ethno-centrism is very bad, as it heralds the burial of their tyrannical dreams. Ethno-centrism in the Horn of Africa region means that the Oromos will focus on the Gadaa system and adore Waqqaa, as they call the Master of the Universe, the Afars will set up a national home (instead of being divided in three countries), the Sidamas will implement their social - traditional democratic – systems, Moote and Luwa, and all the other oppressed peoples will rediscover their true national and cultural identity, after the elimination of the Abyssinian pestilence.

Ethno-centrism in the Horn of Africa region means also that the Ogadenis, as genuine Somalis, will set up a Greater Somalia with all the rest, currently multi-divided Somalis, thus eliminating the Islamic Courts of Justice and the Al Qaeda, who are the best allies of the Tigray and the Amhara Abyssinian dictators.

Without Amhara and Tigray tyrants – invaders of Somalia, what future could Al Qaeda possibly envisage for itself in the critical Horn of Africa region?

Without Al Qaeda interference in Somalia, how could the Amhara and Tigray tyrants convince their own – analphabetic, ignorant, and therefore easily manipulated – masses that they perform well? Starvation and poverty is the only gift Abyssinian rulers offer to their own peoples, the Amharas and the Tigrays, and to those they invaded and oppressed. Simply, to their own people they offer an extra gift: the pathetic grandeur of their mythical 'Ethiopia' – materialized through tyranny of others.

For all these reasons, the Kinijit gang people insist on bringing close two words that are effectively unrelated: 'ethno-centrist dictatorial'. Through this linguistic attraction they undertake the semantic association of the first (ethno-centrist) with the second (dictatorial) – which is an aberration.

In the second paragraph, the Kinijit leadership lambastes the Tigray-led regime because of its nepotism; we have no reason to disagree, except the Kinijit Amhara hypocrites should reject nepotism also for the earlier – Amhara-led – regimes of Haile Selassie (monarchy) and Mengistu Haile Mariam (communism). I am afraid the Amhara apprentice dictators have poor English linguistic skills; in their text 'tribalism' stands instead of 'nepotism'. Nepotism was in Abyssinia an affair best served by the Amhara monarchy – none can do better! It would wise for Amharas to forget the word until all the oppressed peoples of Abyssinia form their independent states.

In the third paragraph, the fallaciously named as 'Ethiopia' country is described as in 'abysmal state'. This is an aberration; it was far worse at the times of the Amhara-led communist and monarchical – feudal regimes.

To better illuminate the cruel and inhumanly totalitarian nature of the Amhara regimes, we will publish here integrally two paragraphs from an excellent collective publication about Abyssinia that we enthusiastically recommend to any person interested in the realities (and the reasons for them) of the Horn of Africa region.

Under title 'Arrested Development in Ethiopia' (Trenton New Jersey 2006 / ISBN 1-56902-282-8), several 'Essays on Underdevelopment, Democracy, and Self-Determination', edited by Seyoum Hameso and Mohammed Hassen, illuminate the tragically inhuman adventures of the Abyssinia's oppressed peoples. The focus is shifted on the Shekacho people, and excerpt is taken from the chapter dedicated to them (p. 85 – 97).

Transportation of Amhara passenger's car on the shoulders of Shekacho farmers

"In 1968, an incident occurred which was typical of the usual brutality with which the Shekacho people were ruled. An Amhara regional governor called Inqu Selassie, toured the Shekacho area using his private car. The entire population of the area were press-ganged to build an 18 k.m. road for his convenience.

However, the car soon got bogged down in mud. Shekacho men were forced to carry the car on their shoulders for the rest of the journey using two heavy logs, while the governor sat inside the car. Shekacho women were forced to clap and shout in praise of the governor as they watched their men begging to be released from their torment. About eight people died from injuries sustained during this cruel incident and many others were crippled."

In the light of this event for which not a single Amhara apologized thus far, we can truly demand of any eventual Kinijit interlocutor in any part of the world the following:

  • - Do not discuss with any Amhara, unless he/she apologizes for the inhuman behaviour of the Amhara regional governor Inqu Selassie.

  • And the Kinijit aspiring megalomaniac tyrants should publish their apologies atop on their website's home page.
